Hi Howard,

I'll have a stab at some of your questions - I'm still getting used to
the system myself. Hopefully this helps you to an extent. My answers
to the questions I have an idea about are below your questions.

> 1. As I fumble around I have lost speech how do I get the pk talking again?
If it's stopped talking because you've accidentally switched the
speech off, you can switch it on again by pressing the bottom left
braille navigation key and the space bar together. This cycles
between speech on, speech on request and speech off. Sometimes
though, I've found that the speech just stops of its own accord - the
braille display keeps functioning but no speech and cycling to "speech
on" again doesn't make a difference. In this situation you will need
to reset it.

Um...I don't know. It might be like that because GPS signal wasn't
too good at the time.

If you look up an address it asks you if you want to define it as
virtual position or poi or both so you can do it this way. On the
other hand you could go to a certain address or POI while in virtual
mode, move around the streets however you like, and then go into the
POIs menu and create a POI at current position.

I think this comes down to personal preference. Though I'm not sure
how that works if you later share your POIs - I guess if you share
them it's more helpful to have them in a category like bus/rail.

I think the way to do this is to go into the multiple repeat commands
and switch on detailed intersections.

I don't know the answer but I too would like to know.

I don't know and have never tried it but imagine you could do this by
"create a manual route" - that's a pure guess though because I've not
looked into that option yet.

That sounds pretty good going to me. The more I use this thing the
more I find its usefulness! I haven't scratched the surface yet...
