Hi Howard,

Hmmmm well I can't say definitively whether it's time for you to send
your PK back to HumanWare or reinstal the software, but I can tell you
that from my experience speech has quite often been lost. This
happened a heck of a lot during a time period which preceded my PK
totally getting messed up and me having to send it back. Having said
that, it behaves very well now (touch wood) but still sometimes loses
speech. I don't know why this is but one thing that does usually make
speech disappear is if I write fast - but I wouldn't imagine this
applies when you're travelling. Another general tip is to make sure
you don't let your flash disk get too full, and frequently empty your
cookies and temporary internet files if you use KeyWeb.

As far as I know there isn't a disk cleanup for the BN.

You might get more expertise and info on this from the BrailleNote
list - can't remember if I've seen you there or not...
