Robert,
With Keysoft 7.0 here is what you should expect with Bluetooth connections.

Once a Bluetooth device has been paired it should stay paired until a Hard
reset dots 4,5,6 or j,k,l, or a service reset.

If a normal reset has been done you will have to activate the Bluetooth
device as the reset resets all Bluetooth active status.

I have noticed that in a very few cases after resets that the Bluetooth is
set off. I am not sure why this is occurring, but it is easy to check.

Once the Bluetooth device is paired and active you should be able to return
to the main menu and start GPS, it best to wait a few seconds after changing
the Bluetooth device status.

The only other cause of not connecting is a low battery state or the device
is not on.

On the Holux receiver you may want to have someone take a look at the status
of the center led. This should be flashing blue every one second when not
connected or waiting for a connection. When connected this blue led will be
flashing blue every three seconds. Also check that the right led is not red
which indicates a low battery.

If all of the above are correct you may have a problem with either the
receiver or the Braillenote. Please call if I can be of assistance.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] uggestions

Hello all,
I am looking for some suggestions for a problem I seem to have.
I cannot seem to keep the pairing with my Holux receiver.
I thought that once it was paired, all I would have to do, is
turn on the receiver and the braillenote, press n and then g.
Well, if I do that, it says bluetooth not detected.
I either have to go to the bluetooth connection, and pair the
receiver everytime I turn it on, or at least, go to the bluetooth
settings, and activate activesync.
I was told that I might want to try reinstalling keysoft, and I
did this, and it did not help.
I had performed a reset, so I knew I had to go and repair, so I
did this, and had the gps working great. So, then about 2 hours
later, I turned the braillenote on, pressed n and then g,
thinking it would just go into the gps menu, but it told me that
bluetooth was not detected, so I tried going to the connections
and said no to search for bluetooth and then I pressed enter on
activesync, and went back to the gps menu, and it still said
bluetooth not detected, so I had to go back to the bluetooth and
pair it.
If anyone has any suggestions as to how I can fix this, I would
very much appreciate it.
Thanks,
Robert
