Good question. I have been asked in examinations: is
law/economics/mathematics an art or science, and usually dithering
either way somehow points to the "correct" answer ;)
But, teaching Microsoft Access/Word to school children certainly cannot
be called science.

I have no doubt that _computer programming_ is an art.
