[Ilugc] Creating a facebook group for ilugc

Hi,

I support both facebook and twitter ideas.

2. They are already in lot of facebook groups and they are contributing a

lot.
Tons of questions/answers, news sharing, event sharing/contributing
happening there.

4. We need more events, more participants, more volunteers which the list
lacks.

6. Yes. The mailing list may slowly become inactive. Still it will be a
choice of people to ask question in mailing list or facebook group.


we shall integrate both facebook group and mailling list. so the postings
in facebook group can be automatically mailed to the mailling list.
A small idea to overcome this issue


8. Yes. Facebook discussions can not be searched/archived.

if we integrate both facebook group and mailling list then this issue will
be resolved. I can provide the technology support to achive this feature
for our group.
