Has anyone tried http://www.linuxbios.org/ on old motherboard available ;
locally in Chennai. I just wanted to know which board is ok for this and
how was the perfomance.
There's a list of supported chipsets on the website - but a notable
omission is the i810, which is a very common chipset that's
seen on many budget boards here. You'll probably have to look for
supported P1 boards.
There's no impact on performance, except for boot times, which are
as low as a few seconds in some cases.
