My apologies for pulling this offtopic. However, in the interest of an
increasing number of people who are blogging and are potential
candidates, I was wondering if the question might make some sense here
and there could be some interesting answers.
Does anyone know what are the major advantages/disadvantages of
Livejournal.com over Blogger.com ?
I presently have a blog (
http://sudhir-lp.blogspot.com) at Blogger.com
account and am able to post to it via tools like w.bloggar. It also
allows post via email option (which I can use for automated script
posts), though it's not necessarily the most secure option. And it also
allows comments to be emailed to the owner of the blog, not to mention
having an option to email those comments also to a mailing-list. And it
provides ATOM feeds. There may be other things which I haven't covered,
but there are most of the things that I find useful.
Things that it lacks (IMO) is the ability to categorize, the ability to
comment backtrack.
Anyone have anything useful to add the Blogger.com side or point me to
things that are beautiful in Livejournal.com ?
