First, let us agree not to allow any person to use harsh language against
newcomers for violating seemingly innocuous rules like top-posting. The
irony is
that these people contribute more noise by hi-jacking and ranting
unnecessarily!
* If they continue to violate (May be a three strikes policy?) banning them
temporarily
will let them know that following rules is important! (When they won't
listen to friendly
nudge there is no point in remaining friendly.)
* At some point of time the temporary ban should be made permanent (2nd or
3rd ban?).
* Please ban any member involving in personal attacks. Lets debate about
ideas; not fight over persons!
* Any member using harsh language against newcomers may also be warned and
banned at third strike.

PS: How to keep track of offending persons? Is there any such option
available in Mailman?
