Intresting comparision. Compare the same with any technical component
this holds good.
Good comparision would be cost of cars in US and India. Price of
Laptops and list goes on.. reason for this is Patents. You have to pay
royality. Thats why Open source community is opposing software
patents.
Prices for Broadband and Internet access are plain cheating.
Particularly the charge for download part when we consider more than
90% of our available bandwidth is not used.
I dont know .. I am totally sober and yet I am seeing things .. like
someone praising BSNL as one of the best providers in the world. That
is so strange .. even seeing pink elephants asking me for a debian CD
would be an improvement on this.
Whats wrong in praising BSNL present offering 256kbps for 500rs is the
best you can find in chennai. Its unlimited download till june ! then
I believe they will have resonable download cap(hoping for this). Only
offer even that comes close to this is 128kbps for 900rs unlimited
download given by airtel (any time any day I prefer uncapped download
over speed). Could you find any other offering as good as BSNL's ??
