Hi all,
Initially I had Redhat Linux installed on a PC. Now I wanted to
repartition the hard disk in order to install windows also. So I used
MS-DOS fdisk to remove existing partitions.
After removing existing partitions, I was unable to save new partition
table information. Both msdos and linux fdisk allows me to create
partition. But once I come out of fdisk and try to see the changes, I
couldnt see my changes. I used the "w" command in the linux fdisk to write
the information permanently.
I googled a lot to find a solution but in vain.
Can anyone help me to find out why the newly created partition table is
not written permanently?
Cheers,
Noorul
