[Ilugc] [OT] Partitioning problem

Actually I am really puzzled why it is happening so.
I partitioned it such a way that I didn't even miss a single sector.
imo, seems, the problem lies some where else. what's the response
message you get when you exit from fdisk after typing 'w'. You can
also consider trying:
1) boot from knoppix and try fdisk
2) try 4 master/slave primary/secondary combination of your hdd (just curious!)
