Convert your windows xp partition to ntfs format it will
eliminate the problem of copying since it is because of partition type.

I gave the mv command. It was chugging along for some time, ended with

I tried copying image itself to a DVD through K3B. It refused saying
files larger than 4GB cannot be copied!
How to overcome this problem?
My system is slightly ancient (Celeron900MHz, 256MB RAM, 80 GB HDD,
WinXP + Debian 4.0)
