Unless your exhibition is very well known, it is best to stick to commonly
understood names in a common language (English). Some one from the north
or other parts of south india won't be able to figure out what the
exhibition is about if the name doesn't make any sense to them.
For instance, the FLOSS conference held annually in France has the name:
"Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre" or RMIL for short. How many
non-french speaking users will even think that this is a IT related
conference let alone a FLOSS conference?
Technical terms are quite difficult to understand when written in a
different language than what they are normally communicated in.
No one becomes a better person because of knowing one language or the
other .. or by promoting one language or the other. So lets leave all this
linguistic chauvinism at the door instead of flooding this list with all
the linguistic flag waving.
