From the op's lsmod info, there were separate drivers for PATA and SATA.
via82cxxx for PATA devices and sata_via for SATA devices.

Can you please give information on such MotherBoards like where can I get
them in chennai?? Richie street doesnt have such MotherBoards :(

AFAIK, PATA hasn't been totally removed from mainstream motherboards, for the 
reason that SATA optical devices haven't become popular yet.
So, if you buy a board with SATA, there's a fair chance that it will have at 
least a couple of PATA slots too.
