[Ilugc] Tata Indicom Plug2Surf Modem not connecting

So connection is up :) Are able to ping the ISP DNS?
Are you able to reach any of the site with IP address?
No, I could ping only the local IP 192.168.99.1 (assigned by ppp)
Pinging 192.168.99.99 or 192.168.99.2 , 3 etc also not working.
If 99.1 is the ppp i/f ip then the steps given by me is totally wrong.
I thought, 99.1 is the gateway ip.
