Its only recently in India that copyright and piracy
of VCDs has been given importance. That too because of
the hype created by the cine industry.
Its still not followed in educational institutions
either? How many students write their own
thesis/project in their final year? Most of them just
copy text from some other book. Even assignments for
that matter, one should always quote reference, in MLA
or APA style. I wonder how many students actually know
about these two!
Not sure when software is going to get the real
treatment.
