Hardly. How many guys do you know went to prison in the US for using
pirated software? Distributing, yes - not using.
In the US, the BSA would have audited you, found pirated software,
threatened to sue you, then offered to settle out of court, and taken
a few thousand $$$ from you - on to the next pirate :)
It is not cheap to litigate in the US.
