I suggest that you use the free QEmu for this purpose. It is a highly
capable full PC emulator available from:
http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/
Utilities are provided for creating virtual disks in the windows
version of the software, you can then install many operating systems
and run them from winthin your windows machine.
