I am looking for an affordable (50-60k) laptop, to be bought in
India. My initial choice of ThinkPad went off the roof when I
checked out the prices in India. Lenovo site says the R series
starts at 87k ! The feature to price ratio is too high - 40 Gb,
256 Mb, no DVD write and so on ...
So that goes out my my list - not really affordable :(
Then I checked out HP's stable and one model caught my eye,
The HP Compaq nx6125 Notebook PC (EX762PA):

AMD Turion 64 Mobile, 512 Mb, 80 Gb, Dual layer DVD writer, ...
at 58k (may go to 60k or so with taxes etc.)
Any of you had experience with this laptop ? Would you advise me
to go for it ? Would also like to have your alternative
recommendations ..
Note - the laptop is to be bought in India.
And yes - would also like to have your advice regarding trusted
dealers in Chennai :)
