using 'testing' and seeing a 'refreshing look' on your gnome is far
from likely. and secondly, 'testing' is far from being 'a year
old'. 'testing' is bleeding edge. If you dont know what you are doing,
you should be running 'sarge' and not 'testing'. 'testing' can
seriously break things if you dont know how to put packages on hold,
etc.,. (in other words, its worth learning about apt instead of
cribbing :) ).

What hserus mentioned is a plain fact - debian 'stable' IS ancient :)
and bleeding-edge-freaks should stay far away from 'stable'.
