I am sorry for suggesting this late, but it is worth to discuss.
India does not have any conference called "Open Source Developers
Conference", whereas Australia, Taiwan, Israel, and may be some other
countries have OSDC. Why not we call FossConf as OSDC India ? This
will receive global visibility. I'm right now in Brisbane attending
OSDC 2007, and it is a very big event in Australia. This way we will
become a part of "Open Source Developers Club". More info at

I do understand that things have gone a little far. Renaming the
conference may be very difficult at this stage. We can consider it as an
option for next year, or conduct another conference or something similar.
