The very first (or second or third) ILUGC meet I attended had Asokan
demoing Debian "potato" (it was 'frozen' back then) on his Dell laptop
that he lovingly called "DellBian". Everything worked out of the box.
Sound, Graphics (on a large 1280x1024 display running windowmaker),
Network.
Oh.. those good old days (insert obligatory nostalgic comments here).

Dell rocks with debian. It was 1400 x 1050 BTW - a rather unique Dell
res.
These days me and my powerbook have come to terms. I just wish the damn
console fonts were better
