Because we're not an official mirror, and will probably never be. We
don't mirror everything Ubuntu has got (in terms of architecture),
neither do we want to. Ubuntu does not accept such mirrors as
official.
We are, however, official for Debian, as you can see here:
http://mirror.debian.org/ftp.iitm.ac.in.html
