many foreigners are under the impression that Indians speak a
language called Indian - this includes the Ubuntu devels. I see in
Mandriva and OSX, that under India, we get various languages - Hindi,
Tamil etc and various keyboard layouts - Devanagiri, tamil etc. This
is one reason why I stopped using Ubuntu - if they cant respect my
country, why should I respect them? I have raised this question with
the local Ubuntu fanbois, but they blame Xorg for this mess. Mandriva
uses Xorg also, but they have taken the trouble to find out what
language is spoken in India - and so has OSX, and quite possibly
Redhat, Suse and others.
