[Ilugc] technical queries - monitor resolutions

Well, it depends on your monitor, if you have a 15" monitor, 1024x768
would be more than sufficient, and using a high quality display
definitely uses more memory.
From what I know, most commodity 15" monitors (Samsung/LG/Daewoo and the
likes) can display 1024x768 resolution at 60Hz vertical refresh rate.
This refresh rate can cause eye-strain, fatigue and headache. 800x600 is
safest to use on these monitors. On a commodity 17" monitors however,
resolutions upto 1152x864 (at 75 Hz) seems safer to the eyes.
