I think this query may refer to modifying the existing parameter
descriptions.
I'm using Jaws 8, having begun with Jaws 3.3, & in each version I have found
that when you highlight an existing parameter on the second page of the
control+D dialog, on tabbing further, you can only create a new entry. I
have not found a way of modifying an existing parameter without deleting the
originals, & recreating them.
I too, choose to modify the jsd file.
If I have missed how to do this via the dialog, I would appreciate some
advice.

When u hit ctrl d, ctrl tab once to the parameters tab. Here u can
modify parameters passed to functions.
