I'm still a little confused, what will this editing of the file actually do for me? In particular, what do voice 1 and voice 2 represent in the grand scheme of it all?

Last 2 digits are for volume, here 92. Voice1=0 50 65 30 0 0 50 92 Same voice softer Voice1=0 50 65 30 0 0 50 60 (Last 2 digits 60, previously 92 ) Tats all. I received this info from another mailing list. if you have more questions then unfortunately I can't answer them. The two choices I know of are: Get a hardware synthesizer; Or upgrade to Windows Vista which has a sound volume applet (sndvol.exe) that can control each individual program that utters sound. -----Original Message----- From: jawsscripts-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jawsscripts-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Matthew2007 Sent: Sunday, October 21, 2007 7:18 AM To: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: jawsscripts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jawsscripts] The Jaws Volume is Driving me Crazy Hi all,Sorry for the double posting, but I am going nuts with the jaws volume. I'mwondering if there is a way of somehow being able to turn down the jaws voice without turning down the Windows system volume? That is, when listening to any kind of audio, when one wants to raise the audio as in music or a DVD, one must also deal with the jaws volume shredding one'seardrums because the eloquence voice is so damn loud! Is there a programmingfix or possibly even a scripting fix?
