my 2 cents... I don't think writing scripts is going to solve any crashing.
did you rifle through fs's tech docs about a similar problem? since you
mentioned the IBM program is similar to Yahoo Messenger...

Today I have installed jaws 13 demo version on my win 7 32 home premium.
It is often crashing in IBM lotus same time connect client.
It is a chat client like yahoo messenger.
The same is the case in Jaws version 12 as well, but its working well
with version 11.
Is it possible to fix this problem by writing Jaws scripts?
