Where: Lubbock Lake Landmark
Program: Native Plants Recommended by South Plains Chapter Members
This program is going to be a work session in which members are going to
develop a list of native plants that members grow successfully in their
yards. Sources for these plants will also be developed. Everyone is welcomed
to
attend! This is a good time to get ideas for native plants for your yard.

Biology Teacher, Frenship HS
George Jury will be giving his program on use of native plants and water
conservation to the Texas Master Naturalists on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at
the Lubbock Lake Landmark at 6:30pm.
The South Plains Native Plant Society's main community project is to assist
with the annual plant sale, at the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum, promoting
native/water conserving plants.
This year's plant sale will be April 16, 2016.
Anyone who has plants to give away, share, please bring them.
George and Pat will have some Shasta Daisies, Heliopsis and at least one
Gray Oak sapling to give away.
