[leasbirds] day's observations

Had a snowy egret and 9 gadwalls at Leftwich Park playa after work today.
Also the first time I've seen swallows in numbers - 4 or 5 near me were
barn swallows. I estimate there were 20 or so all around the edge of the
playa.
Also am seeing several chipping and a couple of white crown sparrows in my
back yard each evening - not really at the feeder - looks like they're
going after the rye grass seed (I let it seed out before mowing it down.)
