Thanks for the info Melody. I know they migrate here in large numbers and it makes sense there are some around. I don’t know enough about them to know if they migrate north in the spring or stay around at this age. Is this location at the pit behind that business near 1585 and Brownfield HWY? I’m assuming this is quite the anomaly this time of the summer. Poor guy or gal is probably hot.

Len, that I don't know about.  But several confirmed seeing it last night.  My husband first saw it while going to work Saturday night.  I have another pic of the red on  his head. I'll need to reduce it first.
