Ok thanks! Tons of them migrate out to the area right adjacent to Takoha Lake 
in the late fall and winter there. That might be where it’s from.

Monty and I went back out at 7:30 am today and the immature crane was still 
there.  We parked on the southside of the playa and walked out as far as we 
could.  I don't really know how to size down to send.  Hope this goes
