Technologies (2019-2020)*
The Natural Resources Data Management System (NRDMS) Division of the
Department of Science and Technology has been conducting capacity building
programs in geospatial technology using open source software in various
Universities across the country.
*Three week Winter Schools in Basic Geospatial Technologies are being held
at:*

2. University of Madras, Chennai (20 January to 9 February 2019)
3. National Institute of Technology, Agartala (29 November to 19
December 2019)
4. Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai ( 3-23 December 2019)
*Three week Advanced Winter Schools in Geospatial Technologies focusing on
specific topics are being held at:*

The training is open to *inservice candidates* from colleges and
universities from all disciplines, personnel from research institutions,
smart city cells, municipal corporations, various Government departments,
etc. A limited number of seats at each institution are available for
Ph.D. Scholars.
*There is no course fee for the same.*
