Dear YETI members,
This is to advertise a volunteering opportunity for small mammal
sampling in northeast India starting second week of March 2015! Field
work involves laying out traps to survey for small mammal (rodents and
shrews) in the forests of northeast India for a minimum period of 2
months. The fieldwork is part of a Master's dissertation project and
the volunteer will be joining a team that is already working there
(including other volunteers). The volunteer will assist the master's
student in gathering data, and there are opportunities for additional
work if the volunteer so desires.
Candidates with some previous field experience are preferred.
Candidates who previously applied can also re-apply.
