Yup. And if they're any good at what they do, they would have no trouble
similarly emasculating COFDM destined for the US market.

Oh hey wait a minute! They DID try this. Remember? That whole
"transmitter monitor" fiasco.

What a revelation. I'm seeing that sordid affair in a whole new light.
It was an effort to prove all DTT bad, no matter the flavor, so cable
must-carry would be perpetuated.

Those cunning little devils!
