Umm....Passage, anyone?? What he should have said is: "We don't have a set-top box strategy ANYMORE" But then Sony has never been real big on admitting it's failures! We all know how Sony insists on creating it's own IP, and since nobody adopted Passage, what's the point of licensing someone else's conditional access system to put into their set-top? They were supposed to supply a set-top to one cable company (can't remember which) though. The box was designed to process SD and pass HD through Firewire. I don't believe it ever saw the light of day.
