Ironically, it was Apple that alienated me from the Mac when they bought and stopped supporting several pieces of software, including drawing and CAD programs, that I used for all my plant engineering and project development. I was forced to go to the PC/Windows 95 with AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator as the replacement. It was not an easy transition form me. Now Apple is getting back in this business...interesting.

But much of our equipment is now PC/Windows so I'll probably stick with it for a while. Transitions are no fun.

Actually AutoDesk is getting back on the Mac platform...

No reason for you to change now. The good news is you can still buy an iPAD and use it to read and annotate your AutoCad files...
