If you look at the video bandwidth in a typical NTSC set receiving a typical NTSC signal, what is the rollloff you will notice? Is it something under 4 MHz, probably?

Let's say it is. Let's say "there is not much information above 3.8 MHz."

Now you do a similar test of HDTV, and you see (your words) "not much information above 20 MHz."

So Craig, is 20 MHz better or worse than 3.8 MHz?

And in the UK PAL system, the equivalent "typical" max bandwidth is probably what? Less than 5 MHz? Same question.
