number of variables.

On a single camera, there might be hundreds of parameters that can be adjusted, 
and that says nothing about lighting, set design and construction, costume 
design and building, makeup, lens, etc.

Two video operators could deliver wildly different looking pictures from the 
same camera shooting the same scene with the same lighting and the same camera 
operator.

Noting differences is good.  Deciding their cause is difficult at best.
