Nope, it won't. Despite the rants of those who live in Manhattan (NY,
not KS), the killer problem with indoor DTV is NOT multipath, but signal
level. Those who say otherwise simply live very close to all-colocated
stations in big cities. The reality is that the marker for OTA is
everybody, and most people live either in rural areas or very far
suburbs, or between markets. Ask Mr. Benham.
The biggest thing we could do to make OTA DTV work really well
is increase power levels 10 dB across the board, except perhaps
topping out at 5 MW not 10 MW.
