Maybe in the introductory sections of every book, where you create the
character, and choose the skills and the items to start the journey
with etc. (and perhaps even in Section 1 of some books) you could
simply footnote one link to the relevant section of the Readers
Handbook, like :

"For more information on the Magnakai disclipines, see <http://refblahblah>"
