I had always assumed that they were gettable. I had a strange tendency
to collect as many items as possible. I was a collector in other
words. I intentionally killed these Redeemers just so I could have one
of their amulets. The item is never used in the books as far as I can
find so this change won't have any gameplay impact.

Reordered the sentences as per my proposal. Fixed.

I have always taken this to mean: take all that you need. Should we footnote
this for clarity?

Agreed.

Footnote added. Fixed.

This is one of our own typos. However, should "turn round" be changed to
"turn around"? (This would be (er).)

Or at least " 'round". :) Agreed with "around".

Fixed here and in several other places in Book 5. I'll audit the other books for this tomorrow.

If we had a reason, I don't remember it now, though the wording was
always awkward. Perhaps we removed them because they wouldn't make
sense in potential non-linked versions (e.g. plain text) or versions
that didn't have a numbered section page (e.g. PDF).

Yes! That was it. I've added this to the Errata Page for Book 5 as a reminder of why we don't link to the Numbered Sections.

Should we footnote: "The Brass Whistle is a Special Item worn on a chain
around the neck"?

Agreed.

Footnote added. Fixed.

I forget if this is possible (I'll have to look this up later if
someone doesn't beat me to it), but are the paths still split at this
point? Could we remove this section from the irrelevant path or are
they single at this point? (Just a hopeful thought.)

Annoyingly, the paths converge in Section 272, at the east gate of Ikaresh.

Otherwise, I like your solution.

Implemented. Fixed.

to your list -> to your Weaponmastery Checklist [and link to the Action
Chart]?

This would need to be done for Books 7-12 also, and probably also 13-28.

Agreed.

Fixed in Books 6-12. For Books 13-20 this information appears in a Project Aon footnote. Fixed. For Books 21-28, the wording is slightly different. I'll split that off into another query in a separate post after this one.

13) It's not made clear whether you'll be penalised for not taking the
weapon mastery in the first book (that is, if you take it in a later book,
will you only get 3 weapon skill picks, or a number equal to your rank?).

We created the RH in part to get most of this general stuff out of
footnotes. It starts to get too much if everything is footnoted.
Thoughts?

We don't want too many footnotes, I agree. The best solution would be to make the RH more visible/discoverable/accessible. Making it a download might help, but I don't know of any wiki -> PDF or HTML/ZIP download software. It's probably possible, though.

(er) 12TMOD 159: If you wish to keep either (or both) the Bronin Vest or the
Silver Bracers, mark -> If you wish to keep either the Bronin Vest or the
Silver Bracers (or both), mark

Sounds good.

Fixed.

Thanks for your input on these, Jon. :-)
