Welcome aboard! > Maybe I could take a look at the scripts and work out a way to improve them? > then again maybe I can't improve them. The more eyes the better they say. My personal collection of Project Aon scripts can be found archived here: http://www.projectaon.org/~jonathan/scripts-20040619.tar.bz2 If you find something to fix - heaven knows there's plenty to find as long as you can make sense of my code - just let me know. There are other programs and utilities floating around. Come to think of it, I've added another personal to do item: create a directory of utilities. > Other than that I have also had some experience in writing applications for > the pocket pc platform, and should be able to create a handheld reader for > the books without too much trouble. This would be great. We ask that any code you write be open sourced under a license of your choosing or deeded to the public domain. Two other things on my personal wish list: 1) Standardized data file format to read games from so that the books aren't hardwired into the software. I guess that almost goes without saying, but earlier attempts were based on the premise of hardwired books. 2) Utility to track game statistics as you read. We have a way to create PML <http://www.palmdigitalmedia.com/dropbook/pml> books, but the major drawbacks are the lack ability to track statistics and the need for a large map. If you have any other creative ideas, we as a group are open to suggestions. I look forward to working with you. -- Jonathan Blake Project Aon
