Wow... Passage of time. Dude was a fixture as long as I've been around. A
different cat, indeed. Hadn't heard from him in quite some time. I know he'd
had health issues for years, how did he pass?

Hello
For those who weren’t already aware, I’ve been informed that a longtime friend
to so many of us, Ray Kelley, has passed away.
Ray was a friend of mine for nearly 25 years - I still recall the first time we
exchanged messages on the old Steeler list was a wink-and-a-nod regarding how
good Corey Dillon was going to be in the pros. Ray was for so many years my
football conscience, mentor and counsel, roles which he expanded into so many
other areas of my life as well, and we fondly remember the night we spent in
2014, with Streetr and Ray in Oceanside where we finally met and watch the
Steelers draft Ryan Shazier.
If I get more information about funeral arrangements or rememberences, I will
pass it along, for now, we give thanks for a wonderful life so richly lived.
Thanks Ray. See you again one day.
