Hi Tim,

> Can you give us more details on your vuvuzela App?

Why, certainly! I must admit to feeling quite passionate about this one...

It's free from the App Store, and has remained in the top five downloads
for weeks now.

Once installed, you will never look back. You will wonder how you did
without it, and you will realise that you are now a more complete and
rounded human being.

When you launch the App first, there is a very helpful message displayed.
"Warning! The vuvuzela makes a very annoying noise." Ignore that, it's
absolute nonsense.

Some of the buttons in the App are not labelled correctly, which was
initially very frightening. Thankfully though, it is easy to find the
button to sound the vuvuzela. Once you start using the App, it's
impossible to stop.

The second most delightful feature of the App (the first being the
wonderful noise it makes), is the 'shake' function. You don't need to
press the button at all! Shake the iPhone, and the vuvuzela rings out in
all it's considerable glory. You keep on shaking, and the vuvuzela keeps
on sounding.

When activated, the vuvuzela rings out with an authoritative roar which
brings to mind images of Africa, football and cups. The sound also seems
to give those people within earshot a great feeling of well being, elation
and harmony... 100% of the time, the general reaction is positive.

Of course, you don't expect me to start typing up the endless list of uses
this App has. I wouldn't know where to start, and I'm still learning new
wild and wonderful ways in which it is enhancing my life. It's quite
indescribable really; you'll only understand what it's like once you have
one... and I do believe you will have one, your destiny is in your hands
Sir. It's in your hands.

The vuvuzela App certainly changed my life for the better, and I genuinely
feel sorry for those poor unfortunates who don't have it. Maybe some day,
some bright day, you will all be able to join the elite. Let the vuvuzela
in to your life, bask in the glory, love it, and it will love you back.

As I said, shaking the iPhone activates the vuvuzella. There is one thing
to note; I will explain.

Although only a relatively small shake is required to start the vuvuzela
sounding, for some reason users find themselves compelled to raise the
iPhone over their head and shake it wildly. There is no perceived
difference in the tone or volume of the sound produced by this less subtle
movement, but for some reason it has been reported that the user
experience is enhanced by making these simple adjustments to the operation
of the App. I can attest to this, it just feels 'right' and 'better' when
you really give it a vigorous shake.

However, caution is required though when engaging in this wondrous
self-satisfying act... The user needs to be careful that they don't lose
their grip on the iPhone at any point during the shaking. The greater the
urgency of the shaking, the greater the risk of having the iPhone fly from
the user's hand resulting in inevitable destruction of the device, and
possible injury to those who are nearby appreciating the sound of the
vuvuzela... A broken iPhone means a broken vuvuzela... Which in turn,
naturally enough, leads to a broken existence.

Best wishes,

Tony Murray
