Hi Melanie, How old is your PC and what version of Windows are you running? How much memory do you have? Is your anti-virus software up to date? Just a few thoughts... If you have a large number of files in your downloads folder, some anti-virus programs scan all these files every time you open your browser and this can slow down browsing. Clearing out the downloads folder might help if you haven't done this already. If you have more than one anti-virus program running at the same time, this can slow down the system also.
