I was trying to play a DVD on my laptop using Windows media player and, I got the following message "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer". Can I download a DVD decoder for Windows Media Player?
I have successfully used the VLC media player to play DVDs (and many other kinds of media) on windows. It's free, and available here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ However, I can't personally vouch for its accessibility or compatibility with particular screenreaders, magnifiers etc. Any feedback would be appreciated!
