Hi, Paul,

Looks like this is where the speech file for Eloquence resides on my system:
C:\Program Files\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\14.0\Drivers\Speech\eloq

I wonder did you overwrite this?

Take care,

Gerry Ellis

If you don't know where you're going,
How will you know when you get there?

Hi Gerry and good to hear from you.

I went into the eloquence/6.1 folder and there are no recent dates there in
any of its component files to coincide with the changes I made installing
real speak solo voices. I also checked all the files in the shared folder
and the only changes are in the real speak solo folder.

However, my eloquence factory and eloquence options are both offering the
same options as the real speak solo, meaning the real speak solo voices I
have downloaded.

I am also running 64 bit.

Thanks and regards

Paul

Hi, paul,

I have a 64 bit PC, so your setup may be a little different if you have a 32
bit one.

As far as I can tell, my information for Eloquence is in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Freedom Scientific\Shared\Eloquence\6.1

I reckon if you destroyed your default voices it was because you overwrote
something in there. Check the date last modified on the files in there and
come back to us.

Take care,

Gerry Ellis

Hi all.

In attempting to create some new voice profiles for JAWS, I appear to have
accidentally saved over the default Eloquence and Eloquence Factory default
voices in JAWS ITSELF, thus losing access to all of these voice options. Is
it possible to reverse this?

Thanks

Paul
