Yes,have tried it and the OCR seems pretty good.
Dave, from what you say, is it true that OCR is being done in the cloud rather
than on the phone?

You might be interested to know that Microsoft’s Seeing AI app is now available
here in Ireland.
The app does live text recognition with the camera, OCR on documents, barcode
recognition, and image recognition. It seems pretty powerful for a free app,
though of course I’m sure you’re paying with your data instead of cash.
I’ve only had a quick look so far but it looks pretty good. I successfully read
the packaging on a Marks & Spencer’s meal with the live text recognition for
example :)
