Hello Sarah,
if you purchased your Nokia E65 with talks installed from VodaFone the license
is tied to that particular phone.
you can upgrade your version of talks to premium talks for a price of €70,
this will give you the latest Talks software.
hopefully it should sort out the problems your having.or you could buy another
mobile phone with talks installed, I think the latest phone they have is Nokia
e52.
I am not sure what type of problems you are having.
if you are thinking of getting a iPhone this is a completely different ball
game.
the iPhone has a touch screen and very expensive to run.

Bert

  Hello Sarah,
Yes, you can transfer your existing Talks package on to a new phone, but if
it is the basic version of Talks you have on your existing phone, you may need
to update it to the premium version at an extra cost for Talks to run
successfully on your new phone. I have done this with my 6680 phone when
moving to the N82. I cannot advise you on the I phone.
Hope this is of help to you.

  Maureen.

    Hi all

Sorry haven't been on line as have been having internet problems which will
not be sorted for another few days! anyway I have a question to ask as I
thought you would have the most info on it.

I have a Nokia E65 which I got a few years ago. Its starting to act up a
lot so am hoping to get new phone for Xmas. Went into Vodafone and the lady
told me that she thought I should be able to transfer my talking package to a
new phone without any extra charge but I am wondering if anyone of you has done
this or knows if that is actually true as she didn't really seem too sure.
Also would it be better to switch altogether to an iphone as I know it has been
getting good feedback from the VICs members and Stuart spoke very highly of it
on the radio yesterday.

Stuart also talked about a blue-tooth braille thing called Focus 40 I
think....does anyone of you know how much it costs??

Your help would be very much appreciated!

    Sarah Mc
